Post-It Brainstorm

Picture of post-it notesIn the post-it note brainstorm, students write reactions, ideas, concepts or other thoughts on post-it notes (one per note), then create a concept map by group notes that expressing similar ideas.

This is a great, tactile tool for that caters to both individual and group learners, and can be used as a planning or reflective tool.  Use in classrooms to brainstorm keywords associated with a research question, explore controlled vocabulary in a database, or with a public library Teen Advisory Board generate program ideas.
